Little Nene (Original)
Little Nene is an otter pup that was sent to the UK Wild Otter Trust rehabilitation centre and this drawing is dedicated to those who take care of those little creatures such as Nene.
The original was made with colored pencils in 2022.
The reference photo the drawing is based on was taken by Colin Seddon - the Director Of Otter Welfare And Rehabilitation of the UK Wild Otter Trust.
This original drawing was gifted to the UK Wild Otter Trust (UKWOT) as a thank you present for their appreciated work and letting me use their reference photo. They do a fantastic work maintaining European otter (Lutra lutra) population in the UK. They saved this little otter pup they named Nene to give her a second chance at life. After rescuing her they took care of the pup for a year and after that released her back into the wild.
